Domestic cell groups meet on a monthly, bi-monthly, or weekly basis depending on the geographic proximity of its members. Ideally, the cell group meets weekly to build real community relationships based on the charism and guidelines of the Brothers and Sisters of Charity. We also recognize the existence of isolated members who meet with the community less frequently. (Domestic Directory, Paragraph 12)
The cell group is the most basic unit of the community beyond the family. (Domestic Directory, Paragraph 9) We have about 20 cell groups in locations all across the country as well as virtual meetings.
To inquire whether there is a cell group near you, contact the Regional Minister for your area of the country.
