After completing the novitiate, temporary profession begins when a member of the community professes the evangelical counsels: poverty, chastity, and obedience, for a period of three years.
The years of Temporary Profession are a stable time of deepening a member's commitment to our way of life. Members will begin to use their gifts and talents more deliberately in apostolic outreach both within the community and in their local churches. Temporary professed members are expected to be solid, dependable members of our cell groups.
If needed, Temporary Profession can be extended up to six years.
